Storing Your Treasures

product
Is buying clippies and flowers a compulsive disorder with you? (I know it is with me!) How do you store your treasures? As I have done, I bet you throw them in a basket or a drawer, or worse yet, a bathroom drawer with the family’s toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes!  As we all know, clippies are not cheap and we spend a lot of time picking out the right ones to match certain outfits or seasons of the year, so how about we give them some love and usage time.
Bow catchers are a great way to store your clippies.  Take a simple D ring and attach a long piece of ribbon to it and hang it on the wall. Now, attach all of your clippies to the ribbon. This idea not only stores your clippies, but displays them with style.  This will also teach your little girls to look at them as a treasure to be taken care of and they always have home. If you don't want a bow catcher, get one of those ribbon crossed boards so that they simply slide in the ribbon slots, beautifully displayed.
Another question would be what to do with headbands?  Here is what I do. Take a paper towel roll and cover it with your favorite fabric (like a neck pillow) and attach a flower on each end , or stand it on end, upright, with a single flower on top. You might have to take off some paper towels to make it the right size. Voila,  you have a great way to display your headbands without them getting tossed in drawers and getting crinkled up or torn apart.
I would love to hear from you, so send me an email along with your ideas about storing your little treasures!
